The six photographers where supposed to believe certain things about the model to make them capture the emotion more I think. If they new it wasn't real then they would've thought less about him maybe that he needs to pretend more. The six photographer were believe that he was a millionaire, a life saver, an ex inmate, a fisherman, and a physic. I think this video shows that you really can't tell what you are photographing but you know what you want. Each photo should have a different mood for the perspective that he is representing and they all need to stand out in a way.

Read and Respond

I think there are lots of good reasons that this is a prize winning picture. First of all I like that it is in black and white other than color because you can see the contrast of it in a better way. There are also leading like which is perfect for the airplane that is right in the center of the end of the ladder. This is definitely a powerful image because of all the leading lines and the the great lighting.
