when shooting panned action:
- positioning yourself perpendicular to you subjects path
- pre-focus where your subject will be when it passes infront of you
The faster your subject and the closer it is to your camera, the faster your shutter speed must be to freeze the action. Whenever your mix light with a fast shutter speed it is called "ghosting".
Ghosting is a little more specific. You need two types of light: ambient light and flash. This read a bit like notes and not so much like a paragraph that answers the assigned question. 95.
