Jump Start: Read and Respond

1. go to the movies.

   I like this one a lot because it gives you inspiration. movies usually have a great story and it would be interesting to but that composition all in one photo. 

2. try to learn a new lighting technique.

   i like this one a lot because it is a good way to experiment. it's isn't that much but it really changes the picture in dramatic ways.

3. go through your favorite CD covers.

   this one is cool because a lot of album or CD covers have an interesting composition. cool art, crazy lighting etc... 

4. take one photo a day.

   this one is great because as you take photos each day you progressively get better.

5. see an art show

   art is another good way to get inspiration for pictures. the idea behind it is also quite inspiring.

6. shoot your family

   this is a good way because your family can encourage you and give your ideas for other topics or some tips and tricks.

7. shoot in the dark

   this is good because it gives you the opertunity to experiment with the setting on your camera and see how things work in your own way.

8. use a prop in an interesting way

    this is also another cool way to experiment with different techniques and photo ideas 

9. shoot for a holiday theme 

   this gives you a solid topic to photograph. it's easy and fun because you have one topic but tons and tons of ideas to choose from 

10. shoot 360 

   I like this one also because if you are shooting one topic, you can look around and see all the other subjects to choose from. they might not seem like a good subject but it's a good way to experiment.
